We’re gearing up for our very exciting play in a big red box–HUDSON TO CHINA–opening the Voice 4 Vision Puppet Festival here in New York, at the legendary Theatre for The New City.  Voice 4 Vision is one of the few experimental and innovative puppet festivals in the US and we are honored to be part of the line up this year!

The show is a wonder: 300 puppets and a one man band tell the story of three lost dreamers with intense cultural wanderlust: a businessmen who wants to work in China, a young Chinese immigrant who’s facing the reality of the American Dream, and of course Henry Hudson, who, in his attempt to find China, land in New York.  It’s a comedic look at the changing relationship to the world’s fastest growing economic powers, and the very special between consumer and those that produce the goods. And it all happens in a big red box!
